My Work
As your local independent councillor, I strive every day to ensure that the people in our area have decent homes, the very best local amenities and a local authority that's leading the way in terms of climate action.
Both as your local councillor and your Mayor, my focus has been on promoting community engagement and ensuring that South Dublin County Council listens to and actively engages with the people it's here to serve.
a proud resident of Firhouse-Bohernabreena, I believe in rolling up my sleeves and getting involved to support community groups, getting to know the people who give so much to make our local area better.
And as a former barrister, I have spent my professional life advocating for people which is why I am always ready and willing to fight your corner.
What We’ve Achieved

Championing Stepping Stones Forests and setting an ambitious target of 25,000 trees to be planted in the lifetime of this Council.
Supporting the great work of Community Centres and community volunteers, in particular focusing on Sláintecareinitiatives within our area.
Fighting for better amenities and defeating an attempt to block the 3 playspaces in Dodder Valley Park.
Promoting innovative approaches to tackling environmental challenges, such as anaerobic digestion to produce biofuel from organic waste as part of a move to a circular economy as well as supporting the Council's Green Infrastructure Strategy.
Collaborating with our Libraries, particularly with regard to their work on diversity and inclusion.
